Senior Mechanical Engineer, Design, Structural & Construction
10 yrs of min. Heavy Industry Experience, either in the Steel Making & Rolling / Shipbuilding / Power Plants / EPC/ Oil and Gas / Offshore Industry .
Should have capability to develop Building Strategies, Construction Methods, Erection Sequences maximizing prefabrication work at workshop or at ground level identifying transportation, handling and lifting restraints for fabricated assemblies and supplied packages.
Experience in Heavy Structures Transportation, Handling, Lifting and Erection is a must.
Work Site experience within a Certified Quality System is also a must, along with a proactive attitude towards interfaced disciplines.
Overseas experience is an asset.
Education & Qualifications shall include - as a minimum - B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Skills : Familiarity with European and USA Building and Welding Codes & Standards, AutoCAD (2D & 3D), other 3D modelling packages such as PDMS, MS Office Package including Access, FEM analysis tools such as ALGOR and the like.
Habit to bear in mind contract provisions while developing technical work
completes the profile.
