Senior Mechanical Engineer : Hydrocarbon / Muscat, Oman - AMEA.
Experience : Minimum of 12 years oil & gas engineering experience (of which 4 years upstream). Experience in conceptual, front end and detailed design required (minimum 10 years experience in an engineering design company). Experience shall encompass all aspects of mechanical system design, equipment (static and rotating), piping systems, design and construction standards, codes of practice. Relevant knowledge, skills and experience in equipment sizing software, codes. Fully conversant with relevant international standards. Experience with Company and/or Shell Group projects and standards (SPs / ERDs and DEPs) is strongly preferred. Field experience in construction & commissioning strongly preferred.
Qualification : Degree in discipline specific engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Eng.) is required.

Experience : A minimum of 15 years related experience plus proven capability in an engineering design firm. Minimum of 5 years experience in design of oil & gas facilities with extensive experience in front end and detailed design, plus proven experience in AutoCAD. Have abilities to effectively check the drawings prepared by Designers in the same discipline. Have level of field experience in construction & commissioning.
Qualification : A minimum HND or Diploma in Engineering.

PIPING DESIGN ENGINEERS
Position: Senior Piping Design Engineer.
Educational Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with about 10 – 15 years of experience.
Areas of experience:
1. Ability to conceptualize plant layout.
2. Development of equipment layout and plot plan.
3. Development of piping general arrangement drawings.
4. Preparation of isometrics.
5. Preparation of material specifications for piping and supports.
6. Development of support design.
7. Knowledge of codes (API, ASME etc.) and standards (E.g. NACE, NFPA, IBR etc.)
8. Knowledge of various vendor packages.
9. Review of vendor drawings and documents.
10. Knowledge of safety engineering.
11. Checking and reviewing of piping layouts and inter discipline layouts.
Fields of experience:
1. Refineries, petrochemicals and oil & Gas (Offshore and onshore).
Software knowledge:
Minimum 5 years of working experience in piping design and exposure to PDS /
PDMS. Shall be able to develop equipment, piping, structural modeling etc. and
to extract isometrics.
Responsibilities:
1. To lead a team of piping engineers/designers and draft persons.
2. To provide guidance to the designers and drafting persons.
3. To plan and organize work to meet schedules.
4. To interact with other disciplines such as process, civil & structural,
